  9. I am a teacher and a developer. I recently retired after twenty-five years as a secondary and college English teacher/National Board Certified. I own Sascyn Publishing, Inc. and my first children’s app will go live in a few months. Its focus is on literacy. My passion is aligning apps and their activities with the Common Core Standards.

  10. I would love to see more Apps which target k-3 skills BUT appeal to teens…I work for a high school as an SLP, and our life skills kiddos are very much teenagers but their functional level is k-3. Its difficult to target skills with pr-school or very young graphics.

  11. I am an OT that is in charge of the iDevice program for our special ed department. I serve as the lead for our AT teams and mentor Life Skills teachers PPCD through HS. I love watching as our students demonstrate skills that were previously locked inside.

  12. I am currently an IA working in a med. frag classroom and have ides for apps that would benefit my kiddos. I am interested in learning how to develop apps or working with a developer to create apps.

  13. I would love to see more middle school apps for my 13 year old. She enjoys learning with apps like her little sister.

Ever since we received an iPad for Angelina in November 2011, we are continually surprised at discovering how much she really DID know from what we were teaching her that she could never show us in regular workbooks and schoolwork and could not verbalize to tell us. This has opened doors for her that are taking her learning to new and exciting places. Many of the apps that my girls use are the ones that you have gifted us. Thank you for your kindness and generosity. You are helping to change their lives. <3

  14. I am a homeschool mom of 4 children ages 6 to 12. I have one son that has down syndrome. We have an ipad that I use with Noah and his schooling. I also use it some with my other children. We would love to be able to provide feed back on apps that might be beneficial for special needs as well as educational for typical children. Thank you for all you do for us. I have gotten so much from all ya’lls hard work!

  15. Autism Language Learning is a new app for iPad that teaches functional language concepts through VIDEO. Easy for SLP’s, students, and family members to use. Please help my facebook page to grow by liking it: http://www.facebook.com/AutismLanguageLearning
and check out the website at autismlanguagelearning.net. Thanks!

  16. Parent of a special needs child. Have homeschooled and will probably do so again. I would love to provide feed back on apps! One day I would love to develop apps.

  17. I am always looking for apps appropriate for HS students

  18. As well as home-educating my 2 daughters, we are also involved in a small learning community. Most of the kids in our group have ASDs and / or mental health issues (anxiety and mood disorders) and / or learning challenges. Technology is proving to be a valuable tool for meeting various learning needs, I am keen to explore apps to build tools and support increasing mental health.

  19. I am an educational assistant with a child on the autism spectrum and I mostly assist children on the spectrum as well. The ipad is a tremendous device to assist these children.

  20. I am also an educational assistant who loves learning about apps that are useful in the classroom and during my own tutoring.

  21. I’m a grandmother of ASD twins.
