Appy Summer of Fun & Learning
Appy Summer of Fun & Learning:The children are out of school, no more teachers, no more books, no more reading, writing, or arithmetic! As app developers and parents, we feel that it is important that our children have an enjoyable and fun summer, but lets inspire them to keep learning! This is precisely why we are issuing a series of challenges throughout the summer for our children through Technology in Education.
By using apps on iPhone/iPad and the web, we will create weekly challenges that will be fun and teach 21st century skills to our kids. Things such as blogging, drawing, creating, and playing all provoke learning in children. So instead of having our kids do the same rote math equations that remind them of school, why not play a game of Arithmetic Invadors.

Creative Art/Music

Writing
- Kid’s App Review – Bring your Kid’s Blogging/Analytical skils out with this contest and win promocodes/Gift cards. Have your kid write a review of an app that they like and you can just copy and paste it here in this field. It could be about any app. Most of the kid’s want to write about the apps they love which you may be already tired of telling them not to play anymore f ex: Angry birds or cut the rope). Turn that enthusiasm and energy in to writing. They will still be talking about what they like but they will also be channeling it in a different way. Healthy Living
- Go Go Mongo!
- Have your child eat at least one healthy fruit and vegetable every day, and tell us what is their favorite!
- Have your children guess what is Mongo’s favorite fruit.
- Have your children go outside and play! Tell your children to write about their adventures at the beach or at the picnic.
